Conductive Education Camp
July 6 through July 30, 2010. The camp, for children ages 2 to 21 with cerebral palsy and other types of motor disorders, which focuses on building self-reliance and functional skills, will be held at The Children’s Institute, Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh
Conductive Education (CE) is a unique and intensive program for children with motor disabilities. Mainstay Life Services Summer Program

PA Lions Beacon Lodge Camp
The Pennsylvania Lions Beacon Lodge Camp is a beautiful five hundred and eighty-three acre summer camp for children and adults with special needs including blindness, deafness, and many other physical and mental challenges. It is nestled in the natural woodlands along the Juniata River of Central Pennsylvania just two miles west of Newton Hamilton, near Mount Union.

 Learn, play, grow…  this summer at Ramapo!

There’s still time to register for one of the exciting summer adventure programs for children with special needs at Camp Ramapo!One-, two-, three-, five- and six-week programs are available for children ages 5 to 16 in Ramapo’s beautiful, engaging outdoor environment about two hours from New York City.  Children will enjoy a wide range of creative projects, sports and outdoor experiences, including swimming, canoeing, camping, hiking, arts, and crafts. Selected older campers are offered pre-vocational training;  some go on to work at camp. All activities are individualized to each child’s abilities and summer programs are tailored for specific age groups.

A special one-week introduction to camp… Get Your Feet Wetfishing 
This exciting program from August 22-28 gives new campers a chance to try out Ramapo for one week. It’s a great opportunity for campers who haven’t been to sleep away camp before. 
Campers will experience daily swims, boating, crafts, sports, hikes, cookouts and more. There will be evening star gazes, campfires and sing-a-longs. The session ends with a Special Visiting Day for parents at the end of the week. Please call us (845) 876-8423 for more information.
