 The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education is pleased to announce the following teleconference opportunity:

Assessment and Intervention Strategies for Children with Speech Sound Disorders

Description:
This presentation will discuss current assessment and intervention strategies for children with speech sound disorders, with emphasis on linguistic theory and linguistically based analysis, target selection, and intervention methods.  Current research regarding treatment decisions that facilitate change in the child’s phonological system will be considered as well as intervention in preschool and school settings.

Target Audience:
This broadcast is specifically intended for speech and language pathologists, parents, special education teachers, and regular education teachers.
